Ruisi Zhang

Ruisi grew up in Zhuzhou, China. She earned the B.S. degree and M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University. For her M.S. thesis, she worked in the lab of Dr. Montazami on advanced gel polymer electrolytes for lithium-ion polymer batteries. Ruisi earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in the Telerobotics Lab, where her research involved haptic vibrotactile displays and untethered magnetic haptic interfaces.

After defending her dissertation, Ruisi became a postdoctoral researcher with Jayender Jagadeesan at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
