Zachary Reed

Zachary Reed earned his B.S. degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Utah in 2017, with a minor in Military Science. After graduation, he worked for Applied Ballistics, LLC. in Howard City, Michigan, performing research and experiments in private and DoD funded small-arms ballistics projects until late 2021. From 2020 to 2021, he deployed to Qatar and Jordan with the United States Army as a Field Artillery Officer. He returned to the University of Utah in 2022, where he is currently pursuing an M.S. degree in mechanical engineering, with thesis research focused on remediation of space debris.
