People: Ruisi Zhang

Ruisi grew up in Zhuzhou, China. She earned the B.S. degree and M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University. For her M.S. thesis, she worked in the lab of Dr. Montazami on advanced gel polymer electrolytes for lithium-ion polymer batteries. Ruisi is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in the Telerobotics Lab, where her research involves haptic vibrotactile displays and untethered magnetic haptic interfaces.
