Jacob AmanJacob Aman attended the University of California, Davis and earned his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2015. After working in industry for two years, Jacob realized that his true passion involved learning about electrical machinery and related controls. After joining the graduate program at the University of Utah Jacob earned an M.S. degree in the Electrical and Computer Engineering. His research focused on designing new types of motors that utilize high cogging torque. After graduation, Jacob joined the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Jacob was co-advised by Dr. Shad Roundy
