Emma PinegarEmma earned a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Utah in 2021. During her undergrad she worked in computer vision research through UROP and NSF REU, and was a CRA Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Honorable Mention. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (Robotics Track), and is co-advised by Dr. Alan Kuntz and Dr. Jake Abbott. Her research involves screw-tip soft magnetically steerable needles. Her hobbies include swimming, biking, baking, and assembling puzzles.
